Kielikoulu Nuevo Mundo coordinates authorised translations between Finnish and Spanish for private clients, companies, law firms, educational institutions, and other organisations.

Spanish documents may be required by Finnish authorities, while Finnish documents may be needed in Spain or another Spanish-speaking country. We assess every request according to the document, the authorised translation direction, the destination country, and the receiving organisation’s requirements.

Finnish–Spanish authorised translations

In Finland, an authorised translation can only be produced by a translator who holds authorisation for the specific language pair and translation direction. The completed translation contains the translator’s confirmation clause and signature. A stamp may also be used, but it is not mandatory under Finnish law.

International customers may also refer to the service as a certified or official translation. The official Finnish legal term is authorised translation.

Documents we translate

Typical Finnish–Spanish assignments include:

Civil-status and family documents

Birth, marriage, divorce, residence, and family documents are often required for official procedures involving two countries. Tell us where the document was issued and where it will be submitted so that we can assess the correct translation direction and delivery requirements.

Studies and professional qualifications

Universities, schools, employers, and recognition authorities may require translations of diplomas, certificates, transcripts, employment records, and professional qualifications.

The translation must reproduce names, grades, dates, institutions, qualifications, and other relevant information accurately and consistently.

Finnish–Spanish authorised translations may also be needed for powers of attorney, contracts, court documents, inheritance matters, company records, and other official business materials.

Requirements vary between Spain and other Spanish-speaking countries. Before ordering, ask the receiving authority whether it requires an apostille, legalisation, a paper original, or another form of authentication.

Confidential handling

Authorised translators have a statutory secrecy obligation. We coordinate each assignment carefully and handle personal, legal, financial, and commercial documents confidentially.
