High-quality interpreting requires strong language skills, preparation, neutrality and the ability to communicate accurately in demanding situations. We aim to provide reliable and effortless service for every customer.

The final price of an interpreting assignment may depend on the interpreting method, language pair, subject matter, duration, location, urgency and any special requirements related to the assignment.

Interpretation prices

The prices below are stated in euros without VAT. VAT is added according to the applicable rate.

  • Hourly rate for interpretation: 65 € / hour
  • Minimum charge: 1 hour
  • Additional time: 30 € / each following half hour
  • Legal interpretation: 60 € / hour
  • Minimum charge for legal interpretation: 3 hours, 180 €
  • Phone interpretation: 31.50 € / half hour

Interpretation assignments may involve sensitive personal information, official matters, business information, legal content, healthcare topics or other confidential material. For this reason, confidentiality is an essential part of every interpreting assignment.

The interpreter’s role is to interpret the spoken content accurately and impartially. The interpreter does not add personal opinions, change the meaning of the message or act as a representative of either party.

The price of an interpretation assignment may vary according to the practical requirements of the service. When preparing an offer, we take into account the assignment details and the interpreter’s preparation needs.

  • type of interpretation, such as on-site, phone or video interpreting;
  • legal, official or specialist subject matter;
  • assignment date, time and duration;
  • location and possible travel requirements;
  • urgency of the assignment;
  • background materials and preparation needs;
  • confidentiality, security or accessibility requirements.

Phone interpretation

Phone interpretation is a practical option for short, urgent or straightforward communication situations. It can often be arranged more quickly than on-site interpretation and does not require travel.

Phone interpretation is especially useful when the matter can be handled clearly by voice and when visual interaction is not necessary.

Legal interpretation

Legal interpretation requires particular accuracy, confidentiality and professional judgement. It may be needed in police matters, immigration-related situations, legal consultations, official hearings or other legally significant contexts.

Because legal interpreting assignments may require preparation and careful scheduling, the minimum charge for legal interpretation is three hours.
